Our cognitively disabled adult neighbors have limited access to community events. These art workshops are for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in Cuyahoga County who have limited options for art, social and community activities. Our goal is to offer them the chance to work along side their abled community. 

Adult Community Art Workshops

This project will enable Cuyahoga residents to work together to create a space for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities who have limited options for art, social and community activities.
The workshops will begin in June 2024 with an ongoing public exhibit of the participants work at the Coventry PEACE Campus.
Workshops focus on customized and flexible art activities that are designed to stimulate creativity and socialization. These workshops help individuals have fun, spend time in the community, and learn & exercise new skills. 

This program is funded by a grant from the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmentally Disabled. It will be run and maintained by ARTFUL Cleveland and  local artist Jacqui Brown.
