Our cognitively disabled adult neighbors have limited access to community events. These art workshops are for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in the Heights area who have limited options for art, social and community activities. Our goal is to offer them the chance to work along side their community neighbors who they may not often see.

Adult Community Art WorkshopsThis project will enable Heights residents to work together to create a space for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities who have limited options for art, social and community activities.
The workshops will begin in September 2023 and culminate in a public exhibit of the participants work in December at Made Cleveland. This program is funded by a Future Height Mini-Grant. It will be run and maintained by local artist Jacqui Brown, Rebecca Rinaldi of JFSA and Brady Dindia of Coventry PEACE Campus. JFSA’s programs and my art workshops focus on customized and flexible art activities that are designed to stimulate both the mind and the body, promoting health and wellness. These workshops help individuals have fun, spend time in the community, and learn & exercise new skills. |
